• You cannot play the same game as an arrogant person. There is no pleasure in looking down your nose at others. What does it get you anyway? Always take the high road and give your best.
• Haughty people can be narrow-minded and often believe that they have the right answers. It is unfortunate that they often overlook good advice and information from others.
• They have plenty of enemies. You are not the only person who labels this person arrogant.
• Do not be intimidated by an arrogant person. Be assertive and always remain calm.
• Have faith that things will work out in your favor. The truth is - people who are confident and self-assured are usually humble as well.
• Keep perspective. Obviously, arrogant people have inflated self-worth.
• Usually the arrogant person's perceived self importance is their ultimate downfall.
• Arrogant people do not realize that the world is made up of other people. They fail to see they are not the center of the universe.

By the way, most haughty people end up hurting themselves. Therefore, remember to focus on you. If you can, avoid such people. If you cannot avoid such people, then practice remaining calm. Develop an emotional mask. It may take practice, but you can do it. Lastly, these types of people cannot get to you unless you let them; therefore, find your determination to not give them such power over you.
