Don't You Just Hate Those Critics?

I Use Them For Motivation. After all, They Should Be Good For Something

Daily_motivation_critic

Sometimes finding daily motivation means using the very thing causing a lack of motivation in the first place. It seems contradictory, but let me provide an example. Professional athletes have a tough job pleasing their critics. I'm sure the critics can constantly find something to pick apart.

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah......

As a matter of fact, I watched an interview with a former professional football player who used all negative comments as incentive to prove the critics wrong. He took great pleasure in shutting the critics up for a day or two. Granted, many would fold under such scrutiny.

Take That....You're Wrong!

Think about it - having someone criticize everything you do does not make for a pleasant day. However, these types of situations almost always tap into your emotion. You, however, can use these emotions to your advantage - firing yourself up to do the very thing you are told you cannot. Try it...the next time you are put down or knocked down...simply ask yourself - how can I use this situation to my advantage? If nothing else, it sure beats the alternative.
