Weathering the Motivation Cycle. Nature's Secret Blueprint

motivation_daily

Today, I found daily motivation from watching a daisy in my yard. I watched the little flower stretch towards the sun soaking in the warmth of the rays. I found it interesting how the sun fueled this little flower to grow - prompting it to keep moving to become something bigger. I was reminded of our peak motivation. When we are motivated to the fullest, soaking in the energy feeding us, prompting us to action to achieve something bigger.

However, like us, the little daisy falls into the seasons of motivation. For the daisy, there are the highs (spring and summer) when it seems to thrive the most. Then there are the lows (fall and winter) when it is in danger to shrivel and die. In between its seasons, the little flower must also contend with adversity in the form of rain, strong wind, and droughts. Not to mention, the other annoyances of insects and animals that try to distract its growth.

I stared in awe as this flower. This daily was still reaching -still thriving -it spite of its journey. What a lesson learned. The next time finding motivation seems difficult nature leaves a perfect blueprint of how its done. See the clues and find strength from them. Let them serve as reminders that maintaining what motivates you is part of the process.
