You have to eat and over time you develop unwanted and unhealthy eating habits. You learn to love and appreciate certain foods. You may even find comfort in foods. If you think about it - food is a big part of your life.

The Lure of Dieting

You often turn to dieting, because you get to the point where you simply have to do something. It doesn't matter that you don't really have a solid plan. You figure you can just try one of the many diet plans out there. If you lose weight - great! You'll figure the rest out after you drop a few pound. At least, that's always been my attitude. Of course, over time, I'd find myself right back in that vivious cycle - lose weight then gain weight. Start a diet. Lose weight again and gain weight again, then start another diet.

It's About Lifestyle

At some point, you have to stop and ask yourself how to break the weight loss yo-yo. You have to figure out how to gain sustaining success so you don't keep spending tons of dollars on diet pills, programs, and other stuff. You have to end the frustration and disappointment with the way your body looks.
