Getting Hitched

My motivation for weight loss was my upcoming wedding. It was 9 months away and as we were planning it I began to start to think of what the actual day would be like. Aside from all the happiness and family and friends, I knew there would be a lot of pictures.

Have you ever seen wedding pictures where the groom just didn't look quite good enough for his beautiful bride? Well, I didn't want that to be me. I didn't want to suck my gut in the whole day just to fit into my tux either. So I started working out 6 times a day and completely changed my diet.

At first I cut out soda and chocolate and potato chips, and as I started to look better my diet got even tighter. Pretty soon I had cut out most grains including bread, french fries and tacos. And I make a great homemade taco so it was hard.

But the results have been worth it. I lost 20 lbs and now I have abs again, which I haven't seen in 10 years!
