Life or Death

by Martin Farmakov
(Macedonia,SKopje)

What is more motivating for you? Life or death. This is the story that in fact changed my life.

It was a summer vacation and we were planing a vacation trip. Something i remember went wrong about the planing and the people were divided. So when the time came we divided the plans and went separate destinations.

I tried to reason with everyone but it didn't have any results. So we let it go. Now I wish we haven't done that. So we went on the trip. When we came back we heard very bad news. The rest of the people that had a different destination had a car crash and 2 of our friends had died.

As any other motivation story you expect a happy ending and a summary but this time this motivational story doesn't have a happy ending but the point is very important.

The outcome at the end of the story is not a success. Not because they didn't listened to me or because we divided the people. The main point and experience here will be that everyone should respect his life and be respectful for other people's life as well. The experience that I had that summer changed me as I was and I think that is the real outcome of the story.
