How to Motivate Employees - Don't Make These Mistakes!
Want to know how to motivate employees for motivation in the workplace? Well, here is list of things NOT to do:
- Ignore your Employees - Stay in your office, never say 'good morning' or acknowledge them at any point. It should be enough that you provide a yearly performance evaluation.
- Do Not Communicate with Employees - Keep them in the dark. Afterall knowledge is power and you have it all.
- Micromanage your Employees - They are stupid embeciles who can't be trusted.
- Play Favorites - Let everyone employee know who your favorites are. Give them preferential treatment, nice raises, and promotions.The rest of your staff doesn't deserve it.
- Let Your Employees Know You're Superior to Them - Afterall, you are the boss.
- Yell at your Employees in Public - it's their own fault for making a mistake in the first place.
- Take all the credit for their work - you're allowed. After all they work for you.
- Place the Blame for Everything That Goes Wrong in Your Department on the Employees - after all they are the ones doing the actual work.
- Make Sure Employees Understand That Work Comes First - Employees need to understand that time is money so discourage them from asking for time off or flexible working hours.
- Never Keep Your Promises - It's your right as the boss to change your mind.
- Frown Upon Ideas and Suggestions - You run the show and know what's best. That's why you're the boss.
- Nose in Your Employees Personal Lives - After all, you are their boss 24/7.
- Ignore Conflict and Problem Employees - After awhile the problems will go away on it's own.
- Make Sure Employees Know They Are Lucky to Have A Job and You As a Boss - Enough said.

Yes sirree. As the boss these things are your right. Once the employees reach your level, THEN things should be different.
