Motivation Techniques and Tips:

  • Make a Commitment to Succeed: You have to take ownership and be responsible for your life. If you truly want things to be better then you are the best chance you have for positive life changes .
  • Don't limit your dreams: If you knew you couldn't fail, what would you want for your life? If you want to live a great life then you should dream big dreams and set goals to make them come true.
  • Get Excited: You have so much to look forward to. Become inspired as you imagine living your ideal life.

Motivation Techniques:

  • Find five motivational quotes that really touch your emotions. Write them down or put them in your mobile advice. Read them every morning for inspiration.
  • Shake up your routine. If you travel to work the same way all of the time, try taking a different route. If you always have black coffee in the morning, try a latte instead. The idea is to do something different. This is one of the easiest techniques for sparking motivation. Try it!

Motivational Techniques

  • Avoid Negative Self Talk: Eliminate words such as never, can't, impossible, failure, stupid, and no from your vocabulary. Whether you realize it or not - you constantly feed yourself messages all day long. The more you can avoid negative self talk the more optimistic and confidence you can become.

  • Walk Tall: Hold your shoulders back, stay alert, and walk with even confident strides. Your body language reflects your thinking and vice versa. Have you ever noticed someone who is overwhelmed or tired? You can see the signs their body language. They are slower and lack energy. You get the idea.

  • Expect Positive Things to Happen: You experience what you think about most. Therefore, forward thinking with positive expectations is what you will get or backward thinking with negative expectations is what you will get. You chose.

    Motivation Techniques

Tap into your emotions. Fire yourself up the way athletes do. With enthusiasm, chant to yourself out loud. You can do it! You can do it! You can do it! This technique may take you outside of your comfort zone, but its fun once you get started. Granted, if you do this around family and friends I can guarantee a few strange looks. On the other hand, talk them into participating with you.

    1. Set Goals: You cannot get where you are going unless you know where you want to go. Goals help provide a destination; an aim; a focus.
    2. Create a Journey Map: Chart your starting point and your desired end point. Every time you make progress, charge it on your map.
    3. Do one thing each day towards the achievement of your goals. Take one step, one day, at a time.

    Motivation Techniques

View the attainment of your dreams and goals from the perspective of what you will lose if you do not accomplish them, instead of what you will gain. Why? It's been proven that we are usually more motivated when there is something to lose. So, if you want to give up the chance to live a happier more fulfilling life doing the things you love and deserve, that's your choice.

      1. Begin This New Nightly Habit Today: Set aside time each evening to review your day and plan for the next. It's motivating and exciting when you see progress you've made. This habit also allows you to plan and stay focused for the next day. This is a very easy, but powerful strategy to implement.
      2. Challenge Yourself: Raise the bar on what you expect from yourself. If you know you can easily complete three tasks per day, the expect four. It'll make you better and accelerate your results.
      3. Don't Fall Victim to the Status Quo: If you have an idea or thought that is out-of-the-box explore it. Remember, 99% of people settle and go with the flow. Not you. You're aiming to be in the elite group who knew something could be done and did it.

      Motivation Techniques

Take action on purpose. If you are one of those folks who do not make your bed in the morning start there. Why? Because you start your day with immediate action and feel a sense of accomplishment that you can carry throughout the rest of your day. If you make your bed, pick another easy task to complete. It's a great strategy that will give you an immediate motivating boost.

      1. Take no as not yet: Remember that you're on a journey. If you so desire, that journey doesn't end until your last breath. Therefore, do not become discouraged by failure or a no response. It's just one more step along the path to your success. If you keep at it, and make adjustments as needed, one day you will achieve the success you desire.
      2. Recharge with a Nap: When you're feeling drained or burned out, a nap may help to refresh you.
      3. Take a Power Shower: Sometimes the invigoration of water splashing across your skin as you scrub clean is just what the doctor ordered to provide a motivational spark.

      Motivation Techniques

Are you in a rut that seems too deep to climb out of? Do you need a force of energy to get you moving again? Your solution is simple - ask yourself the right questions. Our mind is one of the most powerful instruments we have. Like anything, use it accurately and obtain great results. So here goes, restate the above questions as follows:

      • How can I get out neutral and get moving?
      • What is the best way to climb out of this rut?
      • Where can I find the energy to get moving again?

The funny thing is your brain will start to process the questions and seek viable options for you to consider. You shift to constructive thinking mode which provides a better chance of finding results. It is alright if the answers do not quickly follow. Just keep asking. The ultimate question is to you want to use your mind constructively or destructively. The choice is yours.

      Motivation Techniques

      1. Generate an Excuse List: List all the reasons you have for not moving into action, then counter each excuse, in writing, why you should.
      2. Create a Distraction Box: Whenever you think of obstacles/thoughts that split your attention, remove them by writing it down on paper. Then, place the paper in a box and forget about it. Focus on the tasks at hand. This is a very easy way to remove unnecessary clutter and distractions from your mind.
      3. Laugh! Indulge in a good old fashion belly laugh. Why? Often times, lack of motivation or reduce motivation results from stress. Laughter helps alleviate body tension. It will help you lighten up. Rely on whatever you find humorous. Watch a funny movie and laugh till it hurts, or listen to funny audio,or read a funny book. Go visit a comedy club. Whatever approach works for you - do it.

      Motivation Techniques Galore

There are motivation techniques that accelerate progress such as this one. Pick one task or focus item to the exception of all others and concentrate on it over the period of two weeks. Give it your undivided attention with action. Make no exceptions.

The problem most people have is they take on too much at one time. If you can zero in to complete one thing - with simple, continuous effort your chances for completion are increased.

The idea is to speed up progress and create a snowball effect. Once you see things moving, enthusiasm should grow - fueling your motivation. Once you are motivated, you'll perform with more focused action, causing your snowball to grow bigger and bigger as it rolls along collecting progress and results on its path to success. Implement self motivation ideas like this and watch the momentum build.

There are motivation techniques and then there are those techniques that accelerate your motivation to an entirely new level.
