My story

After I graduated from school I had trouble finding a nice job. All I got were fast food crappy jobs in places like Taco Bell and McDonald's, so I started eating with no control. On top of that I was a little depressed and never felt like doing anything at all.

My life was getting out of control and it showed. I started to gain weight, my skin was oily, I had trouble breathing, Always felt nauseous when waking up, and I didn't like it at all. Getting my life back in control was my motivation for weight loss.

First thing I changed were my eating habits. I was really used to eating carbs so it was hard at first, specially at night. I started stuffing myself with fruits and salads, ate more fish and less fried chicken.

I found great cooking ideas on websites like this one that really helped me eat right without feeling frustrated or bored. Who would have guessed that eating healthy could be so delicious.

I also started walking on weekends in a park near my house. Exercising was actually very good for me since it helped me sleep like a baby at night and on top of that it felt great.

I lost almost twenty five pounds dieting and exercising at my own pace in about three months, and now I feel better than ever. I went to some job interviews and I'm now working as an assistant in a law firm. So my life got better, not because I look better, but because I feel better about myself.
