Aren't Your Tired of Negativitiy Weighing You Down?

Taking advantage of positive attitude tips was a wise decision on my part. Everyday for 3 months, I worked to develop a more positive attitude. I invested in an audio program I could play in my car each morning as I drove to work. The audio focused on ten things I could do to have a more positive outlook on life. After getting over the urge to throw the audio out of the window (this lasted for approximately two weeks) I allowed myself to become transformed.

Following are ten Positive Attitude Tips:

1. Take control of your mind with conviction. This means to focus more on your thoughts. When you consistently think negative thoughts, it becomes second nature....consuming your subconscious. This takes practice so be patient with yourself.

2. Keep your mind off the things that you do not want and on the things that you do want. One of the most tragic mistakes we make is always focusing on what is wrong in our lives. However, when we focus our energy on the things that we do want, we train our minds to wrap around it...operating from a more positive perspective which provides a greater opportunity for positive outcomes.

3. Live the golden rule (treat others as you want others to treat you). Some positive attitude tips are self explanatory.

4. Eliminate all negative thoughts through self inspection. When you become aware of your thoughts you can then turn your attention to reducing and eliminating negative thoughts. For example, I'd always approach every situation from the standpoint of what's wrong instead of approaching it from what's right.

5. Be happy. Make others happy. Fake it until you make it. Our body language can influence our mood so start with a smile...even if you do not feel like smiling. When your smile is reciprocated the positive response subconsciously sticks in your mind....replacing some of consistent negative thoughts lurking there.

6.Form a habit of tolerance. Most things in our lives are out of our control so why give away our right to think positively? When we learn to tolerate we are less likely to become angry, inpatient, or frustrated.

7. Feed yourself positive suggestions.By feeding yourself positive words and suggestions, you counterattack negative thinking. For example, I'd think "that was a dumb move, Kim" is now replaced with "Okay Kim, you made a mistake. What can you learn from it?"

8. Use the power of prayer. There are numerous studies to suggest that those who use prayer experience better results in life than those who do not. Prayer has made a powerful difference in my life and continues to be one of my most powerful weapons.

9. Set goals. Goals provide a sense of direction and purpose. Not to mention, when we reach a goal we cannot help but feel a sense of accomplishment.

10, Study, plan, and think daily. This tip allows you to live your life with purpose. Purpose keeps us focused and helps limit those negative thoughts which attack a positive attitude.

Start with just one positive attitude tip if you have to. Developing or strengthening a positive attitude takes time....but a better outlook on life is well worth your efforts.
