Follow Your Heart/Passion

It's the best motivational fuel there is. Unfortunately, we allow our fears to stiffle our dreams. They die because we fall into many different traps such as self limiting beliefs, lame excuses, and destructive impatience.

Be a Dreamer

If you are always visionalizing how you want your life to be, this means you are seeking purpose or adding clarity to what you want out of life. This is exactly what you want to do. Dreams and goals must always remain flexible if you want to experience success. Most importantly, the clearer your dreams and goals the better you are able to map out your designation for getting there.

Think and Plan Longer Term

Unfortunately, society pushes instant gratification and we fall for it. The bad thing is we become so accustom to wanting everything 'now' that we formulate the habit of expecting results now. Your motivation is vulnerable to many things, but instant gratification and impatience is a huge culprit. If you can get into habit of longer term success planning, you'll be more likely to stick with your goals longer - heightening your chances for success.

Do Something

Self motivation will not happen unless you light the fuel. All you need is to take one small action to spark more action. From there, build upon it. Take a small step each day. The more you achieve, the greater your motivation to keep going.

Learn to Embrace Failure

Everyone fails. I'll say it again. Everyone fails. The greatest progress in society comes from failure, need, or a problem or issue that needs solved. Everytime you fail, it simply means you've eliminated one less obstacle to success. Unfortunately, most people have not learned the truth about failure. It only defeats you if you quit.

Take Care of Yourself

Your physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health matter. If you are not in good health, in all aspects of your life, it can be difficult to find and stay motivated. Therefore, take care of yourself to keep your energy high, your mind sharp, and your desire for success strong.

Develop Your Mission Statement and Review it Daily

You have the passion; you've dreamed the dreams; now it's time to write it on paper and review it daily. Keep visualizing your success and wrap your mind around your dreams and goals. It's one of the most power exercises you can do to boost your chances for success.

Never Quit

If you quit, you kill your dream and your motivation. Always remember, you can change your life for the better. You have the have the courage to go for it and the preseverence to keep at it.
